Why should I hire a professional résumé writer?

First impression comes in the form of a résumé. That’s why it pays to make sure you do it right. An employer spends just 15-30 seconds ‘reading’ your résumé to decide if you are deserving of an interview. If your résumé was not able to effectively catch their attention, you lose your chance. Now, will you allow that? Of course not! That’s why a lot of jobseekers make sure they present a job-winning résumé.

And this is where Résumé Pro Writers is good at! We talk to you to develop an in-depth understanding of your distinguishing characteristics and abilities, and create a professional self-marketing document written just for you. We believe that the best résumé combines both format and content. Therefore we will write you a résumé that carefully balances both. We aim at maximizing your chances of landing the job. When you present your résumé to the employer, you are confident that you have with you, the best!

How do I get started?

Choose the package you are interested in. Then sign up online on our secure page. Once we got hold of your order, you will automatically receive a questionnaire along with an order receipt.

You have the option to disregard the questionnaire or submit your own draft (or existing résumé). Whichever is available, fax or email it to us. You may also ask for our call, if you need assistance or have some important instructions.

How long until I receive my initial draft?

Once we have your payment and the answered questionnaire or copy of your résumé, it will only take you three (3) to five (5) days (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) to receive your initial draft. After reviewing it, kindly inform us if we can write the final copy or if there is a need for revision.

Let us know if you want the process expedited and we will try to accommodate your request.

Once I have approved the final proof, what will happen next?

We will be giving you your résumé in three file formats—MS Word (.doc), PDF (you will need the free Adobe Reader to access the file) and ASCII text (electronic version).

Most employers prefer receiving electronic copies. To take advantage of this, it is essential that you have a properly formatted electronic résumé, and this is where you will need the ASCII text format.
You may also want to take advantage of web space to present your résumé to more employers. In such a case, you will need your résumé presented in HTML format. Here at Résumé Pro Writers, we can provide you with both!

Are you keeping clients’ information confidential?

Yes, absolutely! Some résumé writing companies sell their customers’ résumés to job and résumé banks. With us, you are assured we will not divulge any client information to any person or company outside Résumé Pro Writers.

I want to change industries. Can you help me?

If you will be doing the same type of work in a different industry (e.g. sporting goods sales vs. car sales), we can highlight the skills (sales skills, in this case) that make you qualify for the position.

I have a broad range of qualifications and want to pursue a couple of different career paths. Can one résumé do this for me?

We can indicate that in your résumé under background and objectives. But, you must realize that it cannot be done if your multiple career objectives are in different areas.
